It is fair to say that this adorable pup, Lupita Conchita, had it made. The Chihuahua has a loving owner, a forever home, and a lot of friends she can call her own.

However, things were not always good for her.

Lupita’s mom, Miranda Sanchez, said that she’s a rescue dog she found on the street who was abused long before.

That was just about five years ago, and since then things hadn’t gotten any better. However, Sanchez realized that there’s a great opportunity to celebrate Lupita in a very extra special way – by giving her a beautiful quinceañera party and inviting all their friends.

According to Sanchez, she thought that it would be quite funny to throw her pup a quince and enjoy her Mexican heritage. She also figured that it’s another way to get her great family together to enjoy good food and music.

She was absolutely right.

Quinceañeras traditionally happen when a young girl turns 15 years old. In fact, Lupita’s a little bit younger than that. She was actually only over two years old at that time. But, according to Sanchez’s calculation, it put her little pup at about the exact age in “doggy years” for such a quinceañera.

Lupita surely was never going to question whether that calculation added up.

Sanchez said that her beloved Chihuahua was loving it. She even managed to give her her own personalized cake, cake pops, and cupcakes for the guests.

In addition to quite a handful of human guests, seven of Lupita’s dog pals also came to celebrate. It was a lovely close-knit affair. However, thanks to Sanchez’s beautiful cousin, now a lot of people joined in on the said fun. Her tweet regarding the special party quickly went viral.

That was so much love for one adorable little pup. But guess what? She truly deserved it.

It had just been a couple of days since Lupita’s luxurious quinceañera, but Sanchez was already planning about another big birthday bash – following of course the same age conversion.

She said that she wanted to do one the next year. However, it would be Lupita’s 21st birthday.

The two grow up very fast, don’t they?
